C.A.F.É. (Cancer Aid For Everyone):
Each CAFÉ is run by a CAFÉ Co-ordinator.Our volunteers welcome clients (new and returning), make and serve teas and coffees, and sit and chat with the group or an individual, listening to their cancer experiences, or maybe just chatting about the news of the day! The Co-ordinator or more experienced volunteers offer visualisation/relaxation sessions, and will facilitate the group to ensure that all clients have the opportunity to contribute and benefit from our expertise. Volunteers also support our clients by providing information about local services and help in any way they can. We do not encourage our volunteers to give clients their personal contact details. Should clients need support from home we have a telephone support group available.
My dad wrote on a bit of paper to me "This place is like being in a hotel"
The place is outstanding..of course all the nurses ect get paid but alot of volunteers work there..the place is aimed for ms and cancer patients.and theres so many nurses they get the right car all the time.
So i thought i could try and do my bit. They have a lovely garden and iv been giving permission to take pictures in there.,so i intend to get some good shots..get them printed out my self down town and sale them that way..and 100% of the money will go to St Margaret's Hospice of yeovil.il loose a bit of money getting them printer but the car hes getting is outstanding..i must do my bit..so as soon as i have somthing together in the next few weeks i hope some of you can find it in your heart of buy some images to help the hospice.Like i said already this place relies on alot of fund raising..any way i took this focus stack in there garden.il do some more printed.a4 size..get them framed and il leave a link and we can go from there.
